Mission Statement "We are the Music Makers and we are the Dreamer of Dreams" (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). Our Mission at Links for Learning is to make every child a successful academic achiever. Every child has their personal Learning Styles and every child needs a trained tutor who can use their strengths in the disciplines. Much like the Department of Education’s basis which is “Promoting Educational Excellence for All Americans” we at Links for Learning will promote education excellence for all styles of learning. We thrive on the No Child Left Behind Law because this will enable our students to succeed. We will give an opportunity for students who want to advance, to advance! |
LINKS FOR LEARNING was established to help at-risk students develop better reading skills and habits outside of the classroom. Our founder, Debbie Cluff, was teaching High-Risk students through a Los Angeles Title 1 program and began to understand the need for additional resources. When Debbie taught in her own classroom, she noticed her students were not receiving the proper attention at home in regards to their homework. Due to conflicting schedules, parents do not always have the times or means to help their child with homework or academic skills. It seems like we hear parents saying, "My child's education has surpassed my education" thus the children cannot get additional classroom help at home. We understand there is a need for convenient, professional, and affordable tutoring and have made this the philosophy for our website. Through our online and instant homework help students can reach a professional coaches and ask the questions they need to finish their homework. Our professional coaches, working one-on-one, can find the difficulties your child is having in different disciplines and establish proper skills which will enable success in education. |
